Our expert staff has taken some of the finest automotive components and improved upon them, thus yielding even greater safety, performance and reliability.

William Roy Hunt – President
Involved in Motorsports and automobile related businesses since 1978.

Started Finish Line Motorsports, Inc in January 1997. Now the largest and highest grossing Shelby Dealership in the world.

Dan Gentil – Head mechanic/designer and Crew Chief – over 20 years experience in race car fabrication and Winston Cup, Winston West and Winston Southwest Tour crew chief. Dan has extensive engine building, chassis fabrication and design background. Responsible for on-going product development and development of the Shelby Challenge Cobra racer, COMP, and R model Cobras.

John Ward – Consulting Engineer - Lead engineer for several very successful race teams including Dan Gurney's Indy car effort, GTP and GTU effort with Toyota, and Fernandez Racing's Indy car and current ALMS/Acura effort. 

Peter Bryant – Consulting Engineer - British born and educated automotive engineer.   Has extensive design and engineering experience for some of the biggest teams and names in racing including Colin Chapman of Lotus, John Surtees' Formula One effort, Mickey Thompson's Indy Car team, Carroll Shelby's Series One sports car,  Peter Revson's Can Am effort, and his own extremely successful CanAm effort in a car of his own design the UOP Shadow with Jackie Oliver as driver. Peter has an extensive background in aerodynamics and chassis development.

Jeffrey Taylor – Lead mechanic with over 20 years experience as a Chief race car mechanic on several professional race teams including a recent stint with a Dakkar Rally team. Has extensive experience in electronics, suspension, and shock technology as well as fabrication.

Darryl Putman – Lead fabricator with over 20 years experience as a chief fabricator and lead mechanic . Has extensive experience in electronics, suspension, and chassis fabrication. Recently served as lead fabricator on a 12 man Dakkar Rally effort involving a very sophisticated, technical off road racing program.

Brant Jacobs – Mechanic/ technician with over 15 years of experience including open wheel race cars and racing schools. Is primarily responsible for assemble of the Shelby Cobra and Superformance street car line sold by Finish Line.

Kent Griffin – Billing and Materials Manager with over 15 years in the Motorsports arena. Has extensive mechanical back ground involving off road race trucks, buggies, motor cycles, and racing.
